Core Faculty Physician

Passionate educators who want to share their skills with the next generation of family physicians. Inpatient and obstetric care while teaching and mentoring residents.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver full-scope family medicine care
  • Teach and mentor resident physicians
  • Design curriculum in your area of interest
  • Pursue clinical and academic interests within family medicine

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible family physician
  • Eligible for South Dakota licensure

Schedule

Full-time, with potential for part-time or flexible scheduling depending on the position.

Center for Family Medicine residency clinic

Clinical Medical Director

Lead clinician for outpatient services at the residency's continuity clinic — quality improvement, financial performance, and protocol implementation. Educates residents and helps design curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor clinical performance across the residency clinic
  • Ensure regulatory and licensing compliance
  • Implement clinic protocols and performance benchmarks
  • Coordinate with clinic management on operations and workflow
  • Teach and mentor residents

Qualifications

  • Board-certified family physician
  • Eligible for South Dakota licensure
  • Preferred: minimum 5 years clinical outpatient experience

Schedule

Full-time, exempt. Outpatient-focused with optional inpatient and obstetric call for additional compensation.
